What oil do you use?

SYN. for the motor and front and rear end, regular stuff for the trans. it get's rebuilt all the time anywho

What is RP? My tranny is getting hard to get in gear in cold weather

Rotella T, every 2000-2500 miles.. I pull alot, and make lots of smoke. This breaks down the oil rather quickly.

RP 15-40 in the motor, piece of **** Mobil1 in the tranny (changing that soon, having a bad shudder going into lockup since changing to Mobil1 ), changing powersteering to RP soon, same for dif.

Red Line synthetic 75W90 front & rear diffs

I would run the schaffers or amsoil if there was a dealer in okla city, but I have this thing with paying freight on a product you will be dumping on a regular basis.

Just did the first service since I bought the truck used with 25k on it. Serviced the motor with Shell Rotella T 15-40 and man don't it stink!!!! Will probably service again before the weather gets good and cold, and switch to Rotella t syn 5-30. The old man is gonna get his Amsoil dealer ship back so he can do his equipment with that, so I'll Probably switch to Amsoil through out in the spring
