I can't seem to find any where on the internet how much a 6.9 diesel engine weighs assembled. I am fixin to buy a engine stand, to start the rebuild on my 6.9. How much should it be rated to hold?

completely dressed i pretty sure its about 1200 lbs

I got the 1 ton stand from Harbor Freight, and my engine has been on it for about 6 months now. Pretty sturdy and I believe on sale it was $80.

I have that same 2000 lb stand but I bought it locally for $75.00. It will handle these motors easily. Don't try the lower weight items that are on the same Harbor Freight list. They will collaspe.
