Perhaps, but I know of three for sale near me right now with a blown turbo.

I've heard many say if you think a 6.0 is bad. buy a 6.4..........

The 6.0 is not bad once it has been corrected, of course you know that. I passed one up a couple years ago I am sorry I passed on. The engine was fine, but the rest of the truck had been beat on.

Yeah, I'd take a 6.0 over 6.4 any day. Lol Any year Duramax is better than a 6.0 though.

I have to agree having worked on many 6.0s and 6.4s I would take a 6.0 any day. I dont like the fact with a 6.4 the day you buy it imo you pull the pin on a hand grenade, and pray it doesnt blow up on you. I have seen way too many 6.4s blow up for me to ever consider owning one.

But for the thread at hand.
My truck with a superduty 38 gal fuel tank and the factory 16 rear both full, a toolbox in and me in it. (the way it usually runs down the road)
I weigh in at 7400 lbs and I am also in the same boat, I get 16.5-17.5mpg on the highway.
