Back at it. Sisters is marrying a remarkable guy this July in Chamberlain SD. So me and the kids are road tripping Wally.

Trying to do neglected maintenance. Coolant hoses, return lines (fuel leak), and upgraded GP harness.

Today I ripped the entire engine harness out of the van in preparation for return lines and GP Harness.

Cleaned CDR and replaced rubber pieces. Engine looks much better with ZERO wires

Make it mouse proof!

Check Craigslist while you're up there, there's a high concentration of Honda 3 wheelers in that area...... might want a trailer.....

You and @IDIBRONCO need to grab a cooler of seltzers and caravan around the country saving them.
I'll pass on the seltzers.....but @IDIBRONCO and I are doing our part to save three wheelers. I currently have 5...... one officially runs and the others will be coming along eventually.

A little known 3 wheeler fact(little known because I'm making it up as I go) is that earlier this month we celebrated "JuneTHREEnth" it's a localized national holiday where 3 wheeler enthusiast get on their machines and do their best to contract "STWDS" or "sudden 3 wheeler death syndrome" just like our forefathers did in 1986, thus liberating us from having only 3 wheels on our ATVs, haven once been referred to as "ATCs" or "all terrain cycles"....... and banning them from the market in 1987...... here's to you Mr Three Wheeler Man........now let's keep all 3 on the ground, for posterity's sake.......

And I will be starting a "3 wheeler thread" at some point on Oil Burners. I actually joined a "three wheeler forum" hoping to engage in jovial conversations about Big Red Hondas, but it's like..... nothing, I mean, where are you guys at? Out riding your 4 wheeler or something? Lame...... Oh well, I do appreciate the chattyness of our delightful forum here.

Hoping you have a great time with Wally and the family in SD......I guess that's Sudan, make sure the girls are covered head to toe, and they'll kill you if they think you are a Jesus follower.....

Then my 9-year old got home and helped me finish:

And I couldn’t help but notice I think the return tee would work better under the passenger side intake bolts. As it would make the barbs horizontal instead of their current vertical orientation.

Oh well, it’s done as the middle picture shows as I wasn’t sure I could pull intake bolts without disrupting something. I did have thread sealant on hand, but I was still too nervous.

You're not making it up. It's going on right now just outside of Laural, Indiana (I probably spelled the name wrong). It's called Trike Fest.

Well you would have been safe. It's a dry intake. No coolant there. Also no need for thread sealer. The reason why the T is there is because the return runs back along the driver's side of the frame rail, to the FSV, and then to a fuel tank. On the passenger's side, it would have to cross over to the driver's side somewhere. Another thing is that turbo kits place the turbos right over the passenger's side, back corner of the engine so that would add another problem if you had a turbo.

Thanks @IDIBRONCO it would have kept those returns a lot straighter, oh well the old lines, which I think were original to the govt buildout weren’t leaking there.

After seeing @Cubey ’s under doghouse photos with a turbo, if I ever do a turbo, it WILL be remote. But first I’ll try a y-pipe upgrade to 3.5” pipe. Would love a set of headers, but on a van….nope.

I never meant the alcoholic kind. Just the bubbly kind without all the salt
Gotcha, so we'd be like upper middle class white people sipping bubbly in our convertible Mercedes throwing our heads back laughing while our mullets flap in the breeze..... and we scour the land for trikes....I'm feeling it.....
