I just put a rebuilt pump into my truck from Oregon Fuel Injection. Put in 8 new Delphi BB's from them as well. I do want to get it timed professionally, IF I can find a shop with the right tools to do it. I have my doubts on that because not one diesel shop within 50 miles could pop test my injectors.
Anyway, here is the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xep3P-sGVA It starts up pretty good I'd say, seems to run pretty strong. Shoots out black smoke when I stomp on it. I have a slight haze at idle. Notice the air filter is not on, since I have the Banks old style unit I kind of want to get timing set decently well before putting that massive airbox back on.
So what do you think? Should I bump it one way or the other or just leave it for now? I will be driving it a few hundred miles before I can get it timed (back to college).
