valvoline gear oil

I changed the gear oil on My 93 ford and used valvoline full synthetic about 4 months ago. I bought 3qt and thought that was enough but it was not so I went back to the parts store and they were out of the golden/yellow bottles (80-90w I think) so I went back a few times and nothing, now I can find them anywhere and when I find valvoline full synthetic the bottle is different. Did they change the color or what? I just want to top it off using the same stuff but can't find this bottles anywhere, anybody know what is up?
