Since my 87 6.9 died I won't be needing my gear splitter/over drive unit along with a rebuilt transfer case.
The unit is a US gears (I believe) and bolts up between the transmission and tranfer case so you can use it even in 4wd. Have to shorten the rear drive line and lengthen the front. It has around 6k miles on it. Came off an 86 Ford 6.9 with a 4 speed standard trans. The guy backed his backhoe into the truck not long after he put the rebuild tranfer case and gear splitter in. Hence the 6k miles.
I won't use it since I bought a 1990 f250 7.3 with a 5 speed and that goes down the highway great. 2k rpms at 65 instead of 2,700.
Would like to get it to someone that could use it.
