US DIESEL TRUCKIN' NATIONALS ; OFFICIAL FALL EAST COAST GET TOGETHER

Here We Go..... The 36th Annual Truckin' Nationals are being held at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ. It is to take place on Saturday, Sept 15th.http://usdtn.com/index_main.shtml This is a relatively inexpensive all day action packed diesel event. It starts at 9am and goes till 10pm that night. Lets get together, go see this awesome show and enjoy some down time on the east coast.

I hereby propose to make this an official get together for the Oilburners family.

The official days for this event are Friday, Sept 14th, Sat. the 15, and Sunday the 16th.

I live about an hour south of Englishtown and will have a nearby campground targeted by the end of the week and camping information to follow.

I plan on having a burgers and dogs dinner on Friday to take the stress off of arriving and worrying about filling the belly. The Diesel Nationals will be an all day event so I do not plan on anything for Friday or Sunday, however, There are plenty of things to do if you desire.

Both of these places are about an hour south of me.

Englishtown is about 35 min from Asbury Park, a popular beach town. The campground I am eyeing up is about 30 minutes from Atlantic City or Brigantine, both have great beaches to hang out on. Ocean City, NJ is about 45 minutes from the proposed camp and Wildwood is an honest hour southbound.

ok, well, brief synopsis. well to put it bluntly, DO YOU LIKE DIESELS?!

it is open to anything diesel. you WILL see schoolbusses vs trashtrucks, rollbacks vs concrete trucks battling it out on the drag strip. monster truck drags in the grass, jet cars, MORE MORE MORE!

last year i was awstruck by two trucks, a blue KW 6 wheeler dump truck and BRIGHT orange 359 Pete sleeper OTR truck running over 100 mph in the 1320.

Enjoy your trip to Mighiagn, you will be hanging out with some great company. I wish I could make it to Darrin's event but I am grateful for one trip westward this year

I figured there are some east coast guys that just can't make it to Michigan........twice in one year....ummm, yeah, ME. I had such a good time at the Rally I just want another fix before the year's end.

I might be there Saturday and Sunday but I doubt Friday because of work. Englishtown is not to far from me and anyone that is going can run their truck down the track. I ran my truck down it years ago with full lights and siren going before the lights were blacked out.
