U-haul & Diesel Logic IP's

Last weekend I took my U-haul purchased (late last summer) IP out and replaced with the old one.
Tag on the side said "Diesel Logic"..??
Was this common for U-haul to purchase/ rebuild IP's through Diesel Logic???
Is this a red flag for other stuff that could go wrong?? I had a hard starting problem I was tracing back, does start little better with the old IP back in.
Maybe you guys have already talked about this and I'm just late to the party..??

Diesel logic has not rebuilt injection pumps for U haul in about 7 or 8 years. Guess what you got when you bought the U haul pump..... Now your probably asking whats the shelf life.. Well that depends on the shelf and how it was stored. This was discussed once before but don't feel bad.. Its easy information to bring back. So in closeing I guess it depends on how the pumps are stored on the shelf. So far the collective has only some wag being made but a fresh rebuild is going to live longer once your using it... If the rebuilder knew what they were doing. Many out there that we wont trust and a few that can't do anything wrong rebuilding these pumps. I have bought from both typ4 and Agnem. They are known honest members of this community. Nobody has ever gotten a raw deal from them. Read about others in the Hall of Shame forum...

Thanks Gary, I was remembering some of those threads, I couldn't remember if it was Diesel logic or Diesel Care. I took this one out with the intentions of having a local guy take it apart and look at it.
Also figured maybe it would cost less to rebuild, if needed, then the old IP I have in right now.

Read all about diesel carless in the Hall of Shame. You don't do that to members of this community and get away with it..... Unless you never want their business again because yuo "got them once"
