Well I sold the Banks i got with the US Gear. Now I'm thinking about a Hypermax kit on the wifes van.
I know most of you guys are truck owners but, anyone ever put a turbo on a van or know of anyone with one. The van is an 88 E-350 15 pass. w/ 60K original miles. Runs good but I was wondering if the Turbo is worth it. I'd like to maybe tow a camper later on sometime & I was wondering if I'd see better MPG as long as I keep my foot out of it!
Right now it gets a little less MPG in town then the 05 6.0 turbo we had. On the highway the 6.0 got alot better MPG. Due to the 5 sp. auto.
Also if I do a turbo I'm wondering if I should replace the IP, injectors, & glow plugs.
