What im looking for is one with positive stops. My truck is consitantly grinding second when i shift at 3k from first. but i let it drop to about 1500 and its all good.

only thing I know of is a short shifter that another guy has.
as for it helping the grind, I doubt it, either the syncros are wore, clutch is bad, or too much play in the pedals, that and the fact ya cant speed shift a zf
