I started my truck the other day and after running for about 20 seconds the CEL came on and it started running really rough. I cut the truck off, let it sit for a minute, then started it again. After I restarted it the second time, it did the same thing, it started right up, then instantly the CEL came on and it wouldnt go out. I drove it down the road and it still stayed on. The truck ran like crap, it wouldnt get out of its own way, and had zero boost.

I plugged it to the scanner, and the first scan came up with:
P0236 Turbo Boost Sensor A Circuit Performance

than I did a buzz test on the injectors and came up with this:
P0273 Injector Circuit Low - Cylinder 5

What do you think will cause these problems, and what should I do to fix it?

thanks,
Justin

I would guess it is a burnt UVC harness.

236 is probably due to the 273

as for the 273 , by the book, calls to be a shorted harness, uvch, bad injector, or bad idm.

just because ya replaced the uvch doesnt mean that it couldnt have failed.

I am out of town right now, but as soon as I get back I am going to check the UVCH. I am hopping that is the problem.

I am going to start there, then I guess pull the number 5 injector and have it checked out, if it looks ok, then I guess I will have to get a new IDM....

I got a chance today to take a look at the truck, and I have figured out what was wrong.

As soon as I unpluged the harness I noticed that the harness coming off of the motor was burnt.

Here is a pic of it:

I called ford and I got the UVCH and I got the connectors that were inside the valve cover (Ford PN F4TZ9D930K) cause they were burnt as well.

The part that I need now is the connector in the pic above. It is the connector that plugs into the UVCH does anyone know the part number from ford so I can order 4 of them?

Please let me know thanks
