Truck for sale

A guy I do business with has a 1990 F450. Tool box back 5 spd 7.3 idi. He wants 2k but it has sat for years and the bed and cab are basically rust. Frame it good. I am only interested in the truck because I know this guy and he is ****. So when he was driving it, I know he took good care of it. What is realistic offer for a truck like that? It needs a bed and cab for sure.

$6-700...price of scrap. Most don't want to mess with anything like that.

The thing is nothing but salvage at this point. People think their old junk is gold all the time, but its funny, if they tried to take it to a dealer theyd get their nose all bent if they got offered $200 for it, but that's all that the thing would go for at a salvage auction on a good day in that shape. Theres nothing really salable off it at that point, its simply scrap requiring labour that has to have seats tires and fuel tanks removed before a metal yard will accept it

He can scrap the cab and bed, you can take the engine and i will come and give you $500 for the rest
