transfer case rebuild

well my brothers transfer case took a dump its a 03 dodge ram 2500 6spd cummins i was wondering
how hard would it be to rebuild it
would i need any special tools
also where is a good place to get a rebuild kit for that transfer case

thanks for the link ya im going to look at it tomrrow im pretty shure that the case isnt cracked but who knows what the inside of it looks like
