I don't want to get too far off topic here, but I personally would buy the 4x4 ZF5s(make sure they are behind a diesel or 460 gasser) for $150-200 each; transfer cases aren't in as high demand, but I'd still pay $50-75 straight up, get a package deal if you can.

The 2wd zf5s, to me, are only worth as cores/parts for 4x4 ZF5s, but I'd probably still offer $100 and see.

6.9s, well, if they run and are complete(IP, lines etc)... $150-200. More if you need one.
7.3s in good shape, I'd go $200-250 maby? More if you need one.

Now, that's what /my/ prices are - that's what I will always offer on anything I find.
At those prices, if you weren't able to sell them yourself, I'd try to arrange a trip and buy them off you.

Will they sell them for that? Sometimes.
One local wrecking yard wanted like $300-500 for one 4x4 zf after looking at their computer, and I told them that was ridiculous.

The next wrecking yard got me a 4x4 ZF, transfer case, and an AOD automatic plus a few minor parts for $300?

The problem with prices is that if you have a real need, they can be worth quite a bit. But there aren't nearly as many people out there putting new transmissions in their rigs as there are old rigs at the JY, so you have a supply and demand situation here.
It also depends on the area.

See around here they go fast. 250 for a zf5. 100 for tcase.
We also have a 4spd for 200. 4xr with tcase for 100.

I paid 400 for my 7.3 but only has 147k. Trans in truck was shot.

Im doing everything but timing and head gaskets.

I love the zf6 though. They just wont die. My last truck was a 2000 dually 7.3 zf6. Over 600k befor tranny went. And those we almost all loaded miles. I also like having reverse right above low. Helps alot if u gotta rock it out of a hole.

Those are reasonable prices overall... If I needed one, I'd pay that in a heartbeat.
Having a couple on the shelf already, I try to get lowball offers and package deals, though.

I have a used kit but it’s the upgraded south bend clutch, about $500 new. I’d let you take it for $300
