Mine popped off after I got an upgraded turbo but kept using the intake snail. It then had a little nub shaped like a civil war lead bullet which pushed against the cable mount slightly. It was just enough to misaligned the cable sleeve that it would pop the cable off the throttle ball. I ended up shaving the cable mount just a little bit so that it would clear the intake snail civil war bullet, allowing it to be perfectly straight. It hasn't popped off since then.
