So got the mount cleaned up...

But when it came to color, it was a fail. I did it the same as the last bits, but the white wanted to barf at first. So have specals in the paint on the mount and a runny mess on the other parts, it was giving a thin mix by that point. There is no time to fix it, so this is how it gets sent. Also the blue disposable towles leave less lint than the white ones.

I assembled the mount and is about ready to install it, there is a few nick that will need fixed first. So next is to get the body sorted, so all these patches will find home.

I started today by segregating out another section to get paint...

You must be registered for see images

The primary section got knocked down well, with just the larged flap followed by the large drill and brush. The secondary area, just lightly touched on it to give the acid a fighting chance,

Just brushing this, it only got marginally better.

Also went over some damaged paint, this high build sticks well when it wants to...

Then just more treatment, its about ready for paint, I hope that paint is still good.

I still find these glove annoying.

Now another acid wipe, hope dont see rust tomorrow, If not the it good to paint, and there is two colors white where I plot to add a third. This high buid enamel is not bad for no hardner when on, aplication is another story.

Thank, and sand/media get all over the place. I dont want to strip the interea of things I dont want damaged, and then theres hoses and wires that cant get damaged on the outside. I dont have time, place or energy to rip the truck into a million pieces so can do such. Last time I ripped one apart, I was rushed to put it back together. So just doing what can with what is on the table.

The paint on the frame came out in mostly decent shape, might hit it again in a few spots.

Then repeat acid/paint aplication, just cant guaranty no spots where missed. Had to get paint on before there waa rain, so there is that as a variable.

On a day hot enough to make the devil cry, Im finger painting with picasso. A the heat is making me delusional and B ever rivet is making me more mad with a jam. I was only supposed to have just sent the bottom row on this plate, before setting the 90 in place. That did not happen with the rivet gun being the normal pos causing a distraction. So its on the wrong side and will give a sligh alignment issue with afew holes.

You must be registered for see images

And had to beat this one into the right side, of the plate for fitment.

You must be registered for see images

By this point I using a hammer to beat some sense into the givet gun, so it time to stop before I brake something. In turn could not run this entire row of rivets for the mount, and only have the bolts tight.

You must be registered for see images

So unsure how this is to be completed, when all I have is a junk gun to send the rivets.

I though about it some and may be a bit ******* this tool, but is still lesser quality chinesium. Main is issue I find is shown on the feed ramp, its too bunt to eject nails. If you dont ensure each nail ejects and dose fire a second, you get two nails jamed in the port. Can fix it by making the approach be 25-30 degrees over 45, dont have a good way to do such.

censorship has a mind in the gutter.

Second dont know how this adjustment fell out, this gave it another way for it to jam. This will case it to not grab the nail if too lose and never let go of the nail if too tight, it was over tight and not shoting nails.

For stuck nails I found a punch that fits the hole, since not all fire out the back and some those dont fall out when held pointing up.
