me thinks you are too young to know,,but if you went and looked,,at a OLD 390 with a rdt,,it would be 7/8 dia,,and the 444 cu in,,will require at least a 1 inch.........all the way thru..the faster the engine spins,,the more VOLUMN of gasses.....

Is this really a thing to worry that much about? You guys have me paranoid. Mine uses the thread-in style cap that clicks when it's set. My CDR is almost brand new.

Does anyone realize that a 1" ID hose has 4 times the volumn as a 1/2" hose. You may think it's only twice as large, do the math.
The normal OEM of a CDR has a 1" suction hose, and it's very short.

Mike if I remember your carpets brand new do I'm assuming low low miles I would worry to much about it yet around 200k an personally I throw cdr's is the closet trash can I am a RDT fan all the way. Execpt I guess I don't know why size of hose to use lol. I will measure it today an get another. Wyeth I will dose it today an report results when I change the oil again. I'm pretty sure I read to only follow the directions on the can to the T so I share do that.

Leave it alone for now there good for 50k but when they start to fail milage an such drops so go rdt or leave it some dont like the rdt.
