hello fellow burners
thanks for all you help over the years you have help me solve a lot of idi issues
I searched but can't find my answer on forum
1992 ford e350 with bank turbo 164k
new injection pump and injectors ( didn't solve problem tick)
timing set at 8.5
the motor has a subtle tick noticeable from idle on up the rpm range. but goes away when i get on it hard then come back when off the throttle and when just cruising at an easy pace. been like this since i bought it and hasn't gotten any worse.
would a failing wristpin cause this? or some thing in valve train. any ideas how to diagnose this without pulling the engine out for a teardown .
