syncros, forks, bearings, and seals?

How mush sould all the synchros, all the shifter forks, all the bearings, and the internal seals cost on a 93 ZF-5 (should be an S5-42, not a 47 right?)
Searched for the parts, couldn't find them anywhere...

Yes, it'll be an S5-42. The S5-47 was used behind the PSD.

If I remember right, the kit to do mine was a couple hundred $$...but I really don't remember. Hopefully someone who's done this more recently will be able to tell for sure...

Hey Rob, ya finally fabbed up your own reverse shackle kit. I think this got discussed over at the diesel stop months ago. You were looking into buying a kit, I said build one like I did. Looks good!

Yes and no....the shackle mounts on the front of the frame are oem parts cut and re-welded, the rear shackle mounts is a kit from TSC that is intended for trailer spring shackles. My front frame-work is built out of 1/4 thick, 4" C-channel, and I used 1/2 plate to make the rear shackle supports where they bolt to the frame. I put 4" lift blocks under the rear axle.
Actual fab time was about 6 hrs. worth, the majority of the time-work was measuring and figuring things out.
It definately improved ride and body roll.

I have not got around to cleaning the underside of the frame and driveline yet. It really need a sandblasting and paint.

I just realized after looking at my pics that I did not use oem shackle hangers on the front .....I made them out of C-channel also.

How long have you run the stock shackles in the rear? For off-roading, I was affraid I would fold mine over if I ran the stock shackles, so I (over)built some of my own:

So basically I fabbed my own front hangers and shackles, using the stock rear hangers for the shackle mounts.

Are those your stock leaves?

I built my shackle system last year in July. The stock rears have worked just fine, but I don't off road my truck....so to speak. The only off-roading it see's is when I run through the fields at the farm or go back to the woods to cut wood. I don't go looking for mud hole's. 10 years ago I'd be the first one in a mud hole, now I don't want to tear up my trucks like I used to.
Yes they are all my stock leafs. I added one, each side in the front.

Your front leaves just look like they have a lot of arch.

BTW, I am in love with your front clip/grill style. Those years were my favorites.
