stronger alternator for my 84' 6.9?

I was thinking of putting in a stronger alternator as I'm going to run a few accessories like a vegtherm mega and the invertor for the slide in I'll eventually be getting. I was wondering if someone could suggest a very high output and high quality alternator for my truck?

Higher than 130A? You can convert to a 3G from a later model Taurus(93-94+), and only have to change a few wires around. Anything earlier will have the exact 1G 100a unit you have now. Do a search for 3G swap on Fullsizebronco.com, the swap is covered in depth. You can upgrade the internals of a large case 3G to get 160-200A. Search for a thread by Fireguy50
