I am at the point of buying tires. I have 265/75/16s on the truck now. I have read where 255/85/16s or 285/75/16s will fit. I am going to leave it stock until I find a D60 cheaper than $1200-1500..lol. Anyhow, if you are running these size tires, please post a pic and comment on how you like them and how they fit. I plan on an all terrain type tire....General Grabbers or BFG KO2.
THANKS

I'm pretty sure I have 285 /75/ 16 in the front on my 92. Gonna go and cut grass where it's at, there on there just temp until I get the 235/75/16 to match the rear. I'll take a pic and post later this afternoon.

Mine came with 235/85 x 16's on 16 x 6" rims. I had the 265's on it for awhile they are about the same height just a little wider. You need at least 7" (specs call for 7.5") rims for 285's to wear reasonably. I got some Van rims (16 x 7) from Brian (IDIoit) and they work good with 285/75 x 16's. I do have a 4" lift though. Without the lift I probably wouldn't go much more than the 265's.

Here's the pic of my 92. The 001 and 002 is the 285's, the 007 is the rear with 235's. Oh well it don't show the pic numbers, but center pic is 235. i moved the truck and the 285 cleared with hard turn, looks like it would hit the bumper, but it didn't. Truck is not lifted, just stock.

I have 'em on my truck........

285/75R16 you really should get a 8" rim, I had them on the stock rims, but they were at the limits on a 6.5" rim

OK, so I have a couple choices... I have a friend that is selling a set of 265/75/16 BFG KO2s for 600...onply 3-4mo old. He wants to lift his truck now. Not sure if they are load D or E....I priced a set of Falken Wildpeak AT's for 860 at Walmart out the door with road hazard,stems,etc... I like the idea of the added insurance if something should happen on the road. The Falkens would be 285/75/16s though.
