Drove the truck for the first time yesterday in about a month. The batteries were dead, which is interesting as the stickers say they are 8 years old. I put the big booster on them and it started and seemed to charge ok.

Coming home I noticed a little smoke from the front right and realized that I have a sticky caliper. That's what I get for not driving it enough I guess.

I've had some bad experiences with rebuilt calipers in the past, anybody have any recommendations?

Thanks in advance

One with a warranty. You should rebuild it yourself, easy peasy. Oh and hope all is well.

Hey Russ. I was just thinking as soon as I get some time and it cools off a little I need to put the fresh turbo on. Been pretty hot and humid back here but I hear it's been super hot in the NorthWest so far this summer.

If you don't want to rebuild yours. You can always buy Motorcraft Calipers from Rockauto $80 each
MOTORCRAFT Part # BRCF112 Left side
MOTORCRAFT Part # BRCF111 Right side

I would recommend changing the brake hose at the same time. I have seen them fail before where they will allow fluid to pass in one direction but were slow to allow the fluid to back flow causing a dragging caliper. Your already there so why not.
