Has anyone had their steering box bolts work loose from the frame? Mine came out last night at about 30 mph, quite the ride.

Actually, yes. My Son had a 94.5 PSD OBS truck and when he got it the steering was wonky….. so we were checking it out and saw the steering box moving around. It only had 2 bolts in it. We got a 3rd bolt and put it in and the issue cleared, but it came back after long, and we found that new bolt had backed out a bit. So we put locktite on it and made sure all 3 were torqued properly. We never had an issue again. It was several month he had the truck before he was T-B oned and the truck was totaled. Nothing to do with the steering, someone blew a red light and got him…..

Nope. I use cheap HFT torque wrenches and the Haynes/Chilton torque specs. Changed the one on my F250 in 2017 and it has stayed on. Changed my RV's a couple months ago and it's fine too.

pretty common when people let dirt and grime get between the box and the frame while tightening.
