Started my DT360 swap yesterday

I got the he351 in, took the fuel screw out of the A pump, tightened the governor a couple clicks...now it goes good!

Happy with it now.

he351 cw is not variable, i did make a spring actuated waste gate though.

Ya, the newer ones are, this is off an 06 dodge. I need to get a boost gauge installed to see if my spring is doing its job. Here's what I built

So the exhaust pressure will open it instead of boost pressure? And did it bolt on? Thought they were T3 and the 360 is a T4.

I honestly don't know the answer! lol. It did not bolt on, I had to make an adapter for it.

If you made an adaptor because it was too small, it's a t3 exhaust flange. The DT uses a t4. The DTs breath better than a Cummins, just have to give them the air and fuel they need. Lol

I should clarify, I don't know about the exhaust actuated wastegate vs boost actuated...I just copied what other guys did. I didn't research the science behind it. lol.

But yes, I made a t3 to t4 adapter out of stainless, and made it so the turbo fit...but it was a pain. Ideally it would be better moved forward a bunch too.

What do you mean took out the fuel screw? You completely removed it?
