does anyone have a spare high mileage 12v cummins laying around that runs and is drivable. i'm looking for a complete engine(turbo, injector pump, starter, etc.) also i'm not wanting to spend more than maybe $600 so let me know what you have

They're out there, a friend of mine sold a 250k mile good running complete 1st gen engine for $500 not long ago. He sold it fairly fast, but not the 1st day he had it listed like you'd think. You have to look, look, look, and then be ready to pounce when you find one.

I bought a running truck for $1500 and sold everything but the engine and tranny, finally the engine cost Me about $700. If You have the patience You'll find one for that much, just be quick.

My buddy just picked up a 93 with body damage for $100 took 10 minutes to get the motor running, so yes they are out there

I have a 92 12V with 160,000 miles complete with turbo , still in truck as of right now = $1,200 (New waterpump, alt, and very clean )

I have a complete 92 D-250 truck for $1350. Bad cab, rest of body good. The engine and Automatic Transmission is in good condition. It needs a front injection pump shaft seal and the timing set on the pump. The PO installed it wrong and damaged the seal so it leaks diesel. It has 150,000 on it. I bought it for spare parts and have not needed it, getting ready to move and need it gone. I was asking $1600 but decided to lower it to $1350 Firm to sell it.

i would really consider it but you live way to far for me, i'm up here in northern kentucky, 20 miles from cincy so they aint no way for me to get down there and get it or else i would deffently get it

well i just bought the truck in my sig and i would have to sell it to buy this cummins. plus convincing my parents would be impossible
