Smokey Exhaust at Idle

Hello,

We have a new ambulance in my home town (I'm a volunteer EMT there) and noticed that when sitting on scene, even with the high idle kicked in, it smokes worse than my 90 IDI F250 (no turbo). Its a blue haze, so I know its diesel. Its a 2005 E450. Its been in service for approximately a month. Any thoughts?

How many miles, Could be many things. How long does it smoke when they start going. That happened on my dad's 2004 we disconected that batterys for the night and it fixed its self. Might be worth a try just need them unhooked for 5 and it clears it all.

Sounds strange to me if it's smoking that much even warm and on high idle. I'd say it's time for a trip back to the dealer & hope they have a Power Stroke mech.

Oh also run a strong shot of some sort of diesel condesioer in it, It is normally a injector problem
