The blue coating on slip-joint has worn away. There is now too much slop in the joint. Is there anything to apply that would replace the coating?
If not, then are all driveshafts the same length going from the transfer case to the slip joint (including the carrier bearing)? The reason is I am having a heck of a time finding a replacement shaft (new or used) but if that section is the same I could purchase that and reuse the rest of my old shaft.
