Slave cylinder woes no more!!

short answer is yes...

the long answer is i had a slave and master cylinder setup i pulled of another truck i had that was complete and already bled.

the slave in the pics is junk....leaked like a siv (hence the replacement)

Awesome! Even with the plastic dohicky it was quite the job to get the slave on.....Next time ill have to grab one of those hose clamps and make your crazy contraption.

So you cut the clamp in the ungroved section, then added those other slits so it'd clip in?

Could you take up some measurements?

Or is it one of those adjust until it works types of things?

Its about 1" past the worm on the short side and maybe 3" or so past the slot on the other side. Cut the short side and grind the t-slot then put it on the slave and bend it around to gauge where you want to cut the other side...then cut and grind again.

I made it so you had to compress the piston about a 1/2" to get the strap on it.....glad i did because i used the whole travel when its tight.
