I dont know if this woukd be the place to ask this question but the truck is a 1990 with a 7.3 IDI.

What I would like to do is take the bench seat out and put a single driver side bucket seat and a console from a Bronco in its place. Ive been told a Bronco seat and console will fit. Is this true?

Reason being is noone rides with me Im always by myself and I could use the passenger side for storage. Can This be done without a bunch of modifications?

If it will work does anyone here have one that will fit that I could buy from them?

Thank you

You'll have to drill a couple holes but they'll set right in there. I'll take a picture in a little while and put it on here, but I pulled the bench seat out of my '90 single cab tow truck and used the floor brackets, made a frame and bolted captain seats I kept out of a conversion van. My center console is a homemade rig that is screwed to the floor. My seats sit about an inch higher than I like but I'll get over it.

It's impossible to get really good pictures of this, but a couple nice seats out of a conversion van and a piece of steel might be easier to get than bronco or F150 seats. The center console is mounted in such a way that my seat frame moves under it and it stays stationary, not that it matters I'm 6'3" so the seats will stay all the way back.

Ford bucket seats of that era were attached to a sub bracket that used the same mounting holes as the bench seat. I believe the Bronco might have done the same thing but with different dimensions.
