The "rides like a car" bit was Ford's slogan for "twin I beam" suspension when it came out in the 60's. And "the better idea" is Ford's slogan from the 70s, I think.
I'll bet that you'll be able to come up with another one if you wait.I miss my IDI for that reason, especially now.
I keep getting the urge to find another like my 87, maybe over the winter.I'll bet that you'll be able to come up with another one if you wait.
Fingers crossed!I keep getting the urge to find another like my 87, maybe over the winter.
Rock
Then you are doing it wrong. Owned nothing but fords all my life from a focus to a F550 and everything in between. Never been stranded. Oh by the way FORD stands for First On Race Day! Just ask Enzo.I like that
My older son said: F-O-R-D is the chemical formula for rust.
Here in Finland they also say FORD = Fix Or Repair Daily
I can confirm all 3 statements!
Nachschlag:
In Germany is a saying:
"Mit dem Ford fuhr er fort und mit dem Zug kam er wieder heim."
"He left with the Ford and returned home by train."
I need to confirm this as well - as it happened with my E350 too.
This is how you make memories, if it went "as planned" you wouldn't have that great photo op. But it sounds like you're going to experimenting with WMO, welcome to the clan. We'll teach you the secret handshake when we meet at our secret time on the secret day. Good luck with it!Well I got the oil today. The guy offered to deliver it… I don’t think he’ll be offering delivery anymore. It did not go as planned. You must be registered for see images attach
On the plus side, those IBC totes are tough! We did get it stood back up and moved into the garage. After closer inspection though, I do not think this is new, fresh motor oil. It smells like it has hydraulic fluid mixed in, and I see a lot of small particles floating in it, like dust settled into it somehow. It’s definitely oil (probably a mixture of fluids), and I tested it to make sure it burns. I’m going to mix up a small test batch 50/50 with diesel and see how the engine likes it.
He has the usual crappy semi-worthless tailgate lift most small box trucks have that folds up under the truck. They ssuucckk! Several of our trucks came with those, eventually you tip a load over.Well I got the oil today. The guy offered to deliver it… I don’t think he’ll be offering delivery anymore.
