My plan is to not run ANY sort of carpet or foam/material insulation inside my cab. It gets way too snowy and muddy and that stuff just breeds rust.
I plan on using Metalshield on the undercarriage. Apparently VERY good for sound and heat insulation. But it is still rubbery. The lady i spoke with at metal shield you might want to consider bedlining the interior, or using a rubber mat. I do plan on speraying the underside of my roof with it to minimize wind noise. Then put all trim back over it.

But if its rubbery..why would I put...more rubber on top of it?

Definitly want a nice, very durable floor in my truck that wont wear thru in a couple years from my boot heal. Perhaps running rubber mats OVER the metalshield would be the best idea?
The metal shield is supposedly the bees knees for stopping and preventing rust which is why i want to do the inside floor in it too.

Opinions?

Look up Monstaliner. UV inert bedliner and DIY. super tough and a nice texture! Comes with a can of rust bullet? Some kind of rust inhibitor in a can spray/roll it on.
