FYI Autozone has Rotella T6 the full synthetic on sale for 19.99.
After I changed my Lift pump, I was worried about getting stuff in the crankcase so I used the Bardahl Flushing Oil and after running the truck for 15 to 20 minutes, I changed the oil and I have driven the truck a few miles and the oil is still clear. That stuff must work pretty good to clean these dirty engines.
The weird thing is that my other 94 idi that I bought for 3,000 back in 2009 has clearish oil also. In fact it takes several days to turn black. My 2005 VW TDI's oil is always black. Weird
