as much as i'd LOVE to stop and say hi, it really doesnt look like i'll be near any part of Kentucky. what highway are you off of.... maybe i can make a special trip.... :D

Interstate 65, and 24. And the old US highway 62 runs right infront of my office.:D If I can't see it on your trip, I hope to see it at the Rally.

i'm going to have AAA make a route planner for me tomorrow to see how it works out, i'm thinking of going north through AZ and hitting I-40 and going straight across till i hit I-81.....

My wife and I drove from Knoxville to San Diego and back a few years ago, had to haul out a 67 Mustang and new trailer. Anyway, we went out the way your returning. Some parts were a little long but the trip, including west texas, it was fascinating drive tough. From the monsterous dairy farms to the "what the hell is that guy doing living way out here" moments. All good.

You'll have a great trip. PM'ed you my info.

A doc I know just made the trip from here in Beaumont to Phoenix and back in a little over a day and a half to pick up a race car he bought. He said that one thing he recommended if traveling through West Texas is bring some gas cans because fuel stops are very few and far between.

The last time I was on I 10 in west Texas the speed limit was 75 and I'm hearing talk of it being upped to 80. So you can have a heave foot from El Paso to Alpine
