Probably should be no: but-I have my intake manifold gasket all modded with bungs welded to the back for oil draina nd really dont want to have to go through that again...think it would be ok to pull my intake manifold gasket and put it on my new engine? Maybe slap some RTV on it? or am I just being a lazy cheap *******?

Long as you don't tear it up taking it off.
Rtv would probably be okay, if you think it needs it.

Not sure what you are doing to the engine but my feelings are its cheap insurance to replace it and RTV can't hurt a new gasket if used correctly. But you may have issues reusing an old valley pan gasket. Not being there to actually see it makes it very difficult to say... Do not use it. So I depend on pics and your eyes to know.

He modified it for turbo oil drains, so he doesn't want to remake it if he doesn't have to.

I'll buck the trend here and say I would use permatex aviation form-a-gasket on both sides of the gasket around the intake ports. Then rtv on the ends like usual. The reason being, I think the coating on the gasket might interfere with rtv adhesion. I'm pretty sure the Aviation form a gasket would seal the thing up fine, I'd just hate to ever have to clean it off of there for a new gasket in the future.

I've done it, worked fine. Best bet would be a new one, but as long as the gasket material isn't damaged at all you should be fine. I would only do it around the coolant ports in the heads and wouldn't worry about the intake ports or maybe just a light coat.

Aviation grade there are several would be my #2 ( #1 now that its coming off)
#1 would have been hylomar from the first install.
This stuff lets you pull gaskets off numerous times not a glue nor silicone( rtv).
But how big a pita is this mod?
