oh i see.........i think lmao.
so what you have is the adapter part that screws onto the block so that you can run the out/in hoses to an aux cooler/remount mount oil filter i think is what im seeing in the pic.
i have this part.this one was easy to find actually:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/prm-2840
ideally,i just wanted the sandwich type so i could just run out two 1/2" lines to my cooler and leave my filter right there but no luck there.so i grabbed that so i could at least run it.but now i need one of these:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/trd-1028/overview/
but ideally with the oem 7.3l idi/psd threads which are 1.5-16
the only place i can find who makes them are here:
http://www.hylube.com/products/rfhadapter.htm
(and summit has one too,but it's an even worse.a full race type of which they want hundreds for.out of the question.)
but i didn't want to pay that kind of $ just for a filter mount of course.sucks but it's looking like if i want to keep my large m1-601 oil filters i have to lube up,bend over and take it like a b...... lol
i tried this one:
36-1.00N1.5-16
http://www.strickequipment.com/catalog/Champion Filters/800 Series Filter shop cart.htm
but its for a massive hydraulic filter of some sort and my m1-601 didn't even come close to sealing to it.massive 1" gap.
so far i have:
Earl's Performance Temp-A-Cure Oil Cooler #41610ERL
Mocal 200 Degree High-Temp Remote Oil Thermostat #MOC-10ANHT
Perma-Cool Spin-On Oil Filter Adapter #2840
banks oil temp gauge (but no place to put the sender yet)
need the filter mount 1.5-16 thread
will run all 1/2 npt to -10 AN where needed (and likely jb weld the suckers right in for good) and have napa make up the hoses.
