Hi!

Maybe a silly question, but poking around the belts on my 1986 6.9 IDI F250 I notice that there is an apparently unused space for a v-belt on a pulley right at the bottom. I circled it in the photos attached here. Um, should there be a belt here going somewhere.....?

All the other pulleys are either occupied or single-belt. Diagrams I've found online don't show the extra space, and also don't show another belt.

Suspecting it is a redundant space on the pulley but wouldn't mind having that confirmed.

Thanks as always.

The grooves on the water pump and crank pulleys are for your missing A/C compressor belt.
