I bought one of those. Seems to fit okay. Can't speak otherwise. Hasn't had fuel in it yet... but soon I hope.

So far it's working great. I filled the truck up last night and it shows full as it should. I'll have to do some driving and make sure its not sticking there

Thanks for this info. Bought my '86 last year. Rear sending-unit's never worked. Thought that it was left-over project from major motor rebuild from previous owner. Left several things not working. Nothing major, but annoyances. No horn(need something that will peel paint), electric door locks, AC(in Florida, this IS major, lol). Getting the truck ready to pull 5-th wheel for travel after January '17, so got to get busy.

My second diesel, but first 4-spd and 4wd. Any and all advice for preps gratefully accepted. What to look for, look at, etc.

Replaced front rotors, pads, calipers, and hoses just this week. Looking at prices on rears today.
