Rad Core Support

ok so i am progressing with my build and while i was taking the diesel core support off i noticed alot of rust cancer on it, how hard is it to cut the bottom part for the rad off and weld it to my gasser support since it is spotless :dunno

Its a little time consuming locating all the spot welds and drilling them out but with a good drill bit, die grinders and a welder it can be done. Check my gold digger link for a couple pics of the separation.

did you use a mig or tig welder on it ?

Just a plain old flux core welder. I just retacked the spot weld holes and a few seams for extra strength and tada! Brand spanking new core support. What took the longest was breaking the two apart to graft together.
