I did one a while back w/o AC and it was pretty simple, Should I allocate more time to do the AC one. Is it more of a *****?

I snagged the core at Napa for $19. and hope to throw it in this evening. THANKS

After looking at the manual for pulling the heater core on a truck without a/c, I think that doing it on a truck with a/c is even easier. I did a brief write-up on it; take a look here.

It's really no trouble at all...

Hope this helps :) good luck!

This looks similiar, the truck is an 89. The dash looks different but I think the basic layout is the same. This should go fairly well.

I hope so, the howling clanking rear end is next on the block!

Thanks for the whisdom.

I did one on my 92 with AC a while back. Basically the same as that article, except had to move what looked like a computer ( ABS computer??? )out of the way( 2 screws and push aside ) and had to put a little flex on the bottom of the glove box frame to clear it.

All said, very easy.
