This forum has shown several pics of return line possibilities.Heres the scoop. No matter what.. You MUST return fuel from the filter, injectors and the injection pump. How you get it there is any way you can. If a turbo is involved make sure your path is clear because of the turbo heat melting the lines.

I second getting hold of Justin. Always answered my questions quickly and throughly. Both banks need to have a return, as well as the IP. Conestoga has some great diagrams ,if you haven’t already found them on this site

IP's the one that absolutely /must/ have a return line; otherwise, the internal housing pressure will build up to the point that the pistons won't move and it won't inject fuel.

The injector return lines being plugged won't prevent anything from running... pressure will just slowly build up until it leaks out whatever the weakest link is(probably an O-ring).
A.K.A.... Bad idea to not have a return line.
