Question on Fuel Heater

Is the new style out of a 99 up a direct replacement for the flimsy ones on the OBS? I run b100 and have the new style fuel heater just wanted to know if it will work before pulling old one out. It is unplugged on outside of housing. Thanks in advance. Jeep

I think the fuel canister is different on the SD 7.3L.
