I wander what "coke" that is referring to?
But if someone was running water injection, shouldn't that keep anything in the precup or cylinder from igniting it early?

this is from when i was attempting to set up propane. micro switch is a simple on/off switch much like a push button, a hobbs switch is a relay that only powers on when ther is pressure applied on the switch(in this case oil pressure)

it looks like no one really answered your question as to which micro switch to use, which one did you purchase? if any

EDIT: It looks like these switches are designed to be only activated under FULL throttle, what if you want it to engage about half way? seems like that wouldnt be possible to do that with how we have to set this up. im not trying to run a race here, just get up steep hills better.

I tried figuring out the scanner / printer combo deal, but I didn't get far. My GF is home from her business trip and has today off. I asked her to get it scanned for me at some point today. I'll attach it to this thread once I have it.

If you rigged up something like the c6's kickdown linkage, that would do exactly what you're asking for. In fact you can likely USE the c6 kickdown hardware to do it. Then just use a threaded rod to adjust where in the throttle you wanted it to engage.

I was kicking this idea around when it was going to be either propane or HHO injection. I would think the propane would give an idi a more complete burn and help out the power, but even if the system did give you more mileage, that wouldn't matter because you are spending around $15 bucks to fill up a dinky 5 gallon jug. I couldn't justify another fuel expense like that which is why I just installed a custom HHO kit. It adds power and mileage at the same time........however I think propane would add even more power. Depends on what floats your boat

i would like to learn about that, do you have a build thread? how much did that cost?

A good place to find parts is a shop that services / installs propane systems in cars. I found a local shop that did Taxis Cabs, they were a great help as they had all the valves, switches etc. I also installed a fail safe that would not let the system operate unless the engine had oil pressure present.

I need to make up a build thread one of these days. I just haven't had time to do so with school and work occupying most of my time. I spent 200 on my system and it works great

beats filling up at the fuel station and making the wallet lighter.

I would agree. Every time someone asks me why my truck smells like its on fire I tell them that is the smell politiions make when you screw them out of tax money.....:rotflmao
