It took Me two years to read, read, read (bother Calvin on the phone)and gather the parts to swap a 6bt on My 93 ford, I've thought for some time about a smaller diesel on two different vehicles both 4x4 One is a late 70's early 80's ford with a 4bt and a zf and the other one I can't really make up My mind yet bc I don't have enough knowledge to decide. I'd like to swap a small engine into a 75 land-cruiser 4x4. This is where I get lost, what engine could I drop here? I like an engine that is SIMPLE with NO electronics since the 4x4 is going to be complicated enough for Me. What are the options? I was thinking one could be a TC MB diesel, is this one the right size/power/economy combination?
