It's perfect! Smooth as glass. Gotta love AZ. The truck won't see any weight in the bed, at least not often, no heaving in scrap. I just plan on using it as a tow rig and sled puller, using air bag helpers. I suppose a extra crossmember or 2 should be fine instead of going through all that to plate it.

Rough mockup on the rear springs. Was going to go with the 80s Chevy hangers but I think I got the 95 hangers to work. According to my rough guesstimates off my 10.25 in my dually this setup should bring the ass about 2" higher than the front. So once it's all back together I'm thinking that'll be a 1" rake. Sounds good to me!

Going to plate where the studs will go through and making plates that will bolt to the frame with ears that will go to the DOM tubing, spring bushings will go in it then i'll use an unbent axle u bolt or something to hold the tcase in!

This is another cool build from you guys. I hadn't caught this before but how are you going to deal with the angle on the springs? That seems like a lot of tilt forward on the springs. Might cause some forces in funny directions.

Love it!

Test fit. I can't go as high with it as I thought I could so i'm dropping it down a bit. Turns out the bracket is in the same place as the lowest part of the floor. No big deal, biggestr pain is I have to rework my frame brackets a little bit.

Hard to tell in a picture but the driveshaft is going to have a very minimal angle!

Looking good! The only thing I'd have done a bit different is make the plates on top of the crossmember a bit longer so their ends come up above the tubing you ran along the front and back edges, then heat said ends and bend them down a bit till they touch said tubing (cause it looks from the pics that the crossmember's flat surface sits a bit above the tubing's wall), and weld the plates to the tubing. Probably way overkill and entirely unnecessary, but I like overlapping things where I can LOL Then again you're doing all the other supports, so that thing ain't going nowhere! Twin stick? I hate how the 205s shift with the single one, I can never figure out if I'm in 2H or 4H!

Btw I'd love to see the intermediate driveshaft between the transfer case and the transmission, that one will be a sight to behold LOL What size U-joints will you be running actually, gonna try for 1410s?

I was thinking that but it's close enough that bad things will happen before it moves. Going 1410 everywhere and the front and rear shafts are the same. Interchangeable so if I throw a rear shaft doing smokey burnouts...,

Who makes 1410 yokes for the 205? Are you doing companion flanges on the D60 and the Sterling, or U-bolt yokes just huge in size?

High angle driveline. I'm on the fence between flange style with the 1410 adaptors or the yokes. Any direction is like $750+ in just yokes!!!!!

If I didn't know better I'd have thought you raided my scrap bin! LOL

Also, go companion flange style on the 1410s, there's a good reason why the OEMs all went to it when the big power LD diesels came about - flanges provide even and full-circle support to the caps, while you know how the U-bolt style loads up the caps (supposedly the reason Ford came up with their funky 1330 joints where the caps retained by the U-bolts got thicker walls and thus larger OD).
