On tonight’s installment of 12 7.3s and counting, we rip apart this $200 running 89 f-superduty.

Got the trans out, going to use it with a bw1356 for our 4x4 conversion. This trans is mint.

There’s some ingenuity for ya, ha ha!

You’ve got a great looking truck and it’s great to watch you work your magic on her!!

I'm no engineer, but those look like very much the wrong injector lines lol!

EDIT: If they didn't have the grey paint I'd think they were homemade....

Could still be home made.. Tubing bender.... Kustom krylon.. a lot of time.. You can make almost anything look factory....

Can't quite tell.... is that a "custom insulated copper snap ring" of some kind?

Haven’t made any progress lately, too busy with other projects. Had about $400 of parts stolen from our front gate so dealing with shipping claims while we wait for replacements, but here’s some that made it home safely.

Finally getting started on this project, it’s been on the back burner until I got some customer projects done first, so here’s the short list for now to get done first to get the truck on the road.

Mechanical:
Stud and swap spare engine in, modify pump while out. Hydroboost conversion, 4x4 conversion, superduty spring setup, rebuild Dana 60, zf5 swap, cab bushings, paint frame, bronco tank, complete ‘94 ac system, turbo upgrades, intercooler, intake

Interior:
Bucket Leather seats, vinyl floor, sound inslation and stereo

Exterior:
Buff and polish bed, bed liner, good neck hitch, obs front bumper cutouts, fender flares, steps

I think that’s the main stuff. I wanted to get a t4 turbo kit made but the 093 kit is staying in for the time being. Got some time last night to make some progress, got the Dana 60 torn down to the spindles, stripped the paint off everything and painted it up, dif cover got stripped and light polishing then cleared

EXACTLY! I was thinking the same thing. I picked mine up from Texas and I went to change a caliper and was like WHAT IS THIS???

I had to do my wheel seal the other day and the rear backing plate STILL HAS PAINT ON IT!

I'm not sure I'll ever buy another northern truck again lol!

Yeah it’s gonna be a big push, would like to have this done in a month or two, but we are definitely spoiled with our truck parts down here, pretty much everything came apart on this axle with a 3/8 cordless impact, even with 240k on it.
