I've replace the water pump and the heater core, and I still have a massive coolant leak once the engine is warmed up. Any ideas?

I can't pin it, it seems to be coming from above the starter or somewhere up high , but everything is wet . How would I know if I had combustion gasses in coolant?

You will have bubbles in the rad when the thermostat is open. Check the block heater

It could also be the heater hose in the passenger side head. When mine leaked, it ran down the head/exhaust manifold to the rear, and dripped by the starter.

At least the block heater is easy enough to check. You can reach your hand around the starter enough to feel the block and see if it's wet.
