Therein lays the problem...she sat in the desert for 10+ years and got sandblasted. When I moved to Pacifica in '07, I didn't think about how badly the paint had been damaged, so I didn't do anything to address it...and, now, those spots that got sandblasted are rusted out pretty badly...I'm probably going to have one or two holes in the roof before the end of the yearWhat?? Wasn't yours a desert rig?
I have a plan in place to remedy this, but I'm not spilling the beans until things get started (hopefully soon

Probably has to do with the fact that any diesel-powered vehicle in CA with a GVWR over 14K lbs either needs a DPF or similar retrofitted, or won't be able to register after 2015 or so (don't remember the exact year, and it's been pushed back a couple of times). Basically, F-350's are okay (for now), but F-450's are an endangered species...and you're going to see quite a few of them up for sale cheap in CA over the next few years.
