is the washer shiny? If it isnt burnt black re use it, unless you have scarred it up. Did it get double stacked in there with an old one? In 600 miles it shouldnt be baked in there.
and before anyone yells at me for reusing it, if he really needs to get it running he may have to do this, put in the new injector, run it a bit then retouque trun some more then retorque again, not right but it works.BTDT to get home with a cavitated engine.

Like Icanfixall said the manual calls for 35lbs not 50lbs, that is for GM engines 6.2l and 6.5l.
The flat screw driver and bolt trick should work with a simple copper washer specially with pb blaster and You have not used this injectors for such a long time to build much carbon around them. What fuel are running? Are You sure it is there? You can re-use the washer if You really need to get it going but it will be just as hard if not more difficult to remove it later and it will get more carbon in it as well.
How did You know this injector didn't work on the first place?
If You have a small torch You can try to give it a little heat to loosen it after all it's just copper.

i live in ohio the southern tip near maysville kentucky area and yes the washer is still in there it will not budge. I knew it was bad because the injector blow apart it used a half of tank of fuel from town to my home and were talking like 5 miles distance from my home to town. I have all new copper washers and orings but the injector didnt come to day like they said it would but it has been shipped. so if i could get a trailer and a nother truck i would be happy to haul it to you because i never had one stick like this and the heat would make things so much better to work in beside the below zero temps here
If the washer was mashed down too much by the over torquing it could be jammed against the threads. This would be a real problem. I can think of a few suggestions on getting the washer out(in pieces) but seriously don't reccomend any of them because of the high risk of damage to the injector hole or from getting copper shavings into the precup.

so what your telling me is that they told me to over torque these injectors and now i'am setting here with two junk heads and no money to take it some ware to get it fixed and its the only truck i got to drive i know just one injector craped out and i was told wrong on the torque specs some bodies is going to buy me a new top end and it would be all from hypermax's because if the one injector done this that means that all of them are going to go because of this ain't it thats just nice i wish i would have talked to you guys about this before i done all that work for nothing but i guess i'am just going to have to use the same copper washer because i dont want to mess up the injector tube because they arn't interchangable on my truck its snowing here today so that just make things worse

If I was in your position I'd just put a new injector in w/o a washer on it and see if it will hold compression. At least this will get you driveable. I dont think I'd touch the other injectors since theres the chance of the injector body seperating and you dont want to deal with that too! I put new injectors in my truck before I got involved on this board so I didnt know about the low torque spec, so I cranked em down. They have lasted well over 70K that way so I wouldnt get to panicked about them being over torqued.

I have also reused copper seals, although I have never had one fight me like this it, shouldn't matter. When you torque the injector down, loosen and retorque it several times. Not to full torque, but gradually increace the torque every time you retighten it. This wll help seat the old seal against the new injector without having to squash it down to nothing.

Befor i get yelled at on here i just wanted to say thanks guys for tring to help me out i reused the copper washer this morning i went and set it at the correct torque the first time and put it all back together this morning and it seem to be working because it is holding compression and running good for now i used and old injector i found that i had in the parts bend that came out of it i will change it agian tuesday when the new injector gets here hopefuly this time the washer will come out i set the torque at 35 like you guys said to and it seem to be working so thanks a million hey if you guys know any body want to buy a turbo i have a air research to4 turbo charger for sale came of my truck when i changed over to a sweitzer charger but anyway thanks a bunch guys i shore do thank yea
