Sorry to hear you are having some problems... I'll try to so you the way.. First off why did you buy from a known poor reputation place like Diesel Carenot??? We have posted so many bad deals from them I'm surprised anybody buys from them. Sure, some have had good experiances with them but not any that will post it here. Secondly they make a very poor product. They have been doing this with the rebuilt and new injecters for a long time. Just ask around here or read it up above. The factory torque on the injecters is 35 lbs... Not 50 lbs. Injecters don't burn out. Who told you thats whats wrong with yours?? Now that someone has told you all the wrong things you have done please try to understand this... We have been down the diesel care road many times before and the results are mostly the same... Crappy parts and the warranty is just not happening like they state it will. Read what happened to several other members up above then make up your mind about this shop.. You are not alone with problems from this outfit either. We do try to keep others from making the same mistakes we have. Keeping money in your pockets is just a small part of why some of us are here. Now for the copper washer. Use the new washer as a gage and find a screwdriver that just fits into the opening. Now drive it down into the injecter bore but not so hard that it gets stuck in the head. Twist it and the gasket will free up. Post back how it works out. Again, sorry you found out the hard expensive way about a crappy place doing business...
